Heat Embossed Resist Background

Hey y'all!  I have another layout over on the Art Anthology Blog today that features one of my all time favorite techniques to use-heat embossing a stamped image as a resist and using Colorations Spray Inks over the image to see it come to life!  Head on over to the blog and check out how easily this page comes together with this simple technique!

Clearsnap and Fancy Pants Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  Welcome to the Clearsnap Fancy Pants Blog Hop!  We will be hopping all week, and have a great line up of inspiration coming from both teams!  Be sure to leave a comment here and on the Clearsnap and Fancy Pants blogs for a chance to win a  sweet giveaway!  Once you leave here, scoot on over to the Fancy Pants blog to check out their awesome projects!

Today I'm sharing a layout that I've created using a mixture of the "Burlaps and Bouquets" and "Meology" collections from Fancy Pants.  These two lines meld together very nicely which made putting this layout together pretty effortless.  I started with a sheet of corrugated paper as my base which serves the two purposes of adding texture and stability.

To add a dash of interest to the background paper, I randomly stamped a dictionary text stamp using ColorBox Pigment Ink in "Snow" and heat embossed using Donna Salazar ColorBox Mix'd Media Inx in "Jasmine." I added some ink splatters using ColorBox Spritzers in "Seattle Sky" and "Pinkolicious." After adding buttons and chipboard embellishments from the "Burlap and Bouquets" collection and a title, this layout is complete!  See, told ya easy peasy!

I hope you've enjoyed this project!  Thanks for stopping by!  Again, don't forget to leave a comment here and on the Clearsnap and Fancy Pants blogs for a chance to win some goodies!

Happy Heart Day

I had fun with Smooch Accent Inks and Smooch Glitz creating a quick and easy Valentine's Day tag and card!  Go HERE to check out the full project and see how I created the cute jar!!

Where does the time go!

With all three kiddos home, it seems like time is not on my side!  I have a few layouts to share to play "catch-up" of sorts ;).
This is a layout that I completed using Crate Paper's "Random" Collection.  Lots of layers but yet  very simple. I love that my daughter was trying to hold back a laugh while I was being super silly.....she couldn't contain it for long!

Check out how intense those butterflies are!  They were sprayed with Clearsnap's new Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Ink Sprays in "Blueberry!"  I LOVE how "pure" and rich the colors are with these sprays.  The doilie has been sprayed with "Guava." The best part....the sprays won't warp your paper....yep, had to see it to believe it!

Ok, don't laugh...hehe, but this is my first EVER 2 page layout.....that I was FORCED to do using a SKETCH no less (double whammy) by my LSS (Scrapping Frenzy).  I will stick to one pagers please and thank you! :) ....well in their defense, they were trying to get me to think outside my box ;).

This is a tag I completed for Clearsnap featuring lots of Smooch Spritz, embossed resist background, Want2Scrap chip and bling....and lots of other little touches to complete the look!

I will be sharing a layout really soon featuring more of the Clearsnap Stephanie Barnard Sprays!!! Have a great week y'all! ;)
